WORKING TOGETHER

The aim of education must be the training of independently acting and thinking individuals who, however, can see in the service to the community their highest life achievement.

People of the world – look at Berlin, where a wall came down, a continent came together,

and history proved that there is no challenge too great for a world that stands as one.

There is no challenge too great if we work together.  This wiki is a small step to make that happen.  It is a collaborative website that each of us can add to, change or simply read to find out what's new - is one of the ways we plan to continue to work together to act on our beliefs.  The wiki will evolve as we shape it with our thinking, our new ideas, our connections and what we think is most important to support and enhance teaching and learning.  Make your voice heard by becoming a wiki writer, by commenting on the wiki page, or by emailing sbeleznay@sd68.bc.ca with your ideas.

At a recent visit at VIU, student-teachers asked some hard questions.  Let's help them!  Post some of your ideas in the comment section at the bottom of the page.

How do you keep students who are so visually stimulated with technology engaged in a classroom and school

where technology has not advance or is not available?
